Kale Makeham rides a 2012 KTM 250 2 stroke. He recently finished 5th overall in the Australian U19 motocross series and he’s currently running 2nd in the Australian U19 supercross series.

After a strong performance at Round 1 in Dubbo which scored Kale a 2nd overall finish, he is now aware of the things he needs to focus on to get him in the top position. Makeham had the speed all weekend but wasn’t able to put down consistent laps through the main, which hindered his chances of getting by Hayden Mellross who took the overall for the night.

Based in Koondrook, Victoria, Kale trains daily at his home track having Pro Lites rider Errol Willis travel down to be his training partner.

Makeham lets you in on how he prepared for the ASX championship, his day-to-day plan leading into Dubbo, NSW. He then makes use of his finely groomed Supercross practice track and cuts some laps in the lead up for Round 2 @ Phillip Island October 27th & 28th.
